I’m Nathan and welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I’d describe myself as an avid outdoor adventurer who doesn’t mind packing in an extra 15 pounds of camera gear to my already overstuffed backpack every time I set out on an adventure. After all, why not turn a challenging day hike or overnight backpacking trip into an intense weightlifting session.

I’ll always jump at the opportunity to head outside for an early morning sunrise shoot or grab my camera after a long day to capture the beauty of the setting sun. Yet, it's the longer excursions off the beaten path that really excite me, delving deep into backcountry wilderness for days. Out there, my thinking decelerates. I become more present. I feel a profound connection to real life, and I’m reminded of our modest place in the vast expanse of the planet we call home.

Now, about my photography. This is not my profession. I am an amateur photographer. To date I haven’t worked with any big-name clients, nor have my photographs been featured within any publications. Put simply, my passion for the outdoors is deeply intertwined with my love for capturing the stunning beauty of landscapes through my camera’s lens.

I hope that my photography evokes an inspirational energy within your spirit, inspires you to get outside, to get in touch with yourself, to be in the moment and experience what the nature of the outdoor world has to offer, to you.
